Course overview

When dealing with strokes, providers know that time matters when it comes to treatment and transport. It is also important that providers identify when a patient is having a large vessel occlusion (LVO) to ensure that the patient receives the proper care. This course will also provide an overview of the MEND Exam that providers can use for stroke identification.

Who is this course for?

This course can be taken by any provider who seeks to gain further understanding in the topic of death and EMS. While this training is specifically targeted at currently licensed EMT/AEMT/Paramedics or EMT/AEMT/Paramedic students, any member of the healthcare field can take this course.
