Office of Financial Aid and Student Accounts

College is expensive and Financial Aid can be hard to navigate. This page offers up some of the differences between Phoenix Institute and other institutions.

What type of aid do we offer?

  • In-House Payment Plans
  • Outside Financing Through Private Student Lenders for certain programs
  • Need Based Scholarships

In House Payment Plans

Credit Not Required

We do not run a credit check of any type for in-house payment plans

Sometimes, traditional payment plans require payments on days that just don't work for you. We have options to match your needs and can even customize plans as needed

No Hidden Fees

We only charge you what you owe, no pesky additional interest fees

We do charge late fees, returned check fees as needed

How do I get a payment plan?

For semester programs:
  • To qualify for a payment plan, you must be denied by our outside financing partner and provide evidence of denial to have an in house payment plan

For non-semester programs:
  • During your application, simply select Payment Plan to allow for your admissions counselor to help you set up an affordable plan

Financing Options

We partner with two organizations to help you finance your education!

Most programs provide a needs based scholarship

Based upon need

We never want for finances to get in the way of education. We offer need based scholarships for a variety of programs. Our commitment is to ensure that all students have access to education

Students must submit a written request for the scholarship with information about their financial need and how the scholarship would help, previous academic transcripts, and recommendation letters (not required, but encouraged)

Types of Scholarships

At this time, we do not have funds for scholarships. As we receive scholarship opportunities, they will be updated here

How do I apply?

During the application process, you will have the ability to request a scholarship and upload documents. The scholarship committee will review all applications and notify students via e-mail to their decision 2 weeks prior to the program start date.

All applicants must submit their enrollment application and fee (if applicable) for consideration
